Mr. Pate was born on December 6, 1932 to the late Louie and Nellie Pate.  He proudly served our country in the United States Army. He later went to work with civil service where he had the opportunity to travel the world.  Mr. Pate worked diligently with a work ethic and a thirst for knowledge that quickly saw him rise the ranks at Robins Air Force Base.

His love for his wife, Joan, children and grandchildren was apparent in everything he did. He was able to build bonds and connections with everyone he ever knew.
