A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Jerry Bisping will officiate. Burial will be held in Parkway Memorial Gardens immediately after service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.

Byron, GA-Robert M. Jump, 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday February 6, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Jerry Bisping will officiate. Burial will be held in Parkway Memorial Gardens immediately after service. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.

Mr. Jump was born January 29, 1935 to the late Mel Lankford and Ila Lankford. . He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He later went to work for Robins Air Force Base where he retired after 37 years of service.  Mr. Jump was still working for Central GA. Equipment in Byron at 83 years of age. He helped form and was president of The Warner Robins Little League for many years. He always made sure his boys played ball.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother who will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Evelyn Jump, Byron; two daughters, Roxanne Jump, Williston, South Carolina; Sue Wilson, Athens; two sons, Robert (Cathy) Jump, Warner Robins; Edward (Deanna) Jump, Windermere, Florida; stepdaughter, Diane Willis, Warner Robins; stepson, David (Cindy) Willis, Fort Valley; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Faye (James) Taylor), brother, Buck Langford.
