Funeral services will be held at 4:00PM on Friday, December 8, 2017 in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Melton officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 3:00PM-4:00PM. Following the services, Paul will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
Paul H. Ridley passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 6, 2017. Born in Cohutta, GA on April 23, 1926, Paul was a soft-spoken gentleman and a member of the greatest generation. He bravely served his country as an Army rifleman in World War II and earned several decorations for his service.
After the war, Paul returned home and married the love of his life, Lois Head in 1948. In all, Paul and Lois were married for over 69 years, a testament to their commitment and love for one another. Paul also worked in Plant Services at Robins Air Force Base for 37 years and retired in 1984. Never one to sit idle, Paul loved to garden and share with family and friends. His kindness and clever wit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Lois Ridley of Warner Robins, GA, brother Glenn Ridley, sisters Mary Sue Loughridge and Betty Walls, all of Dalton, GA, daughters Judy Pike (Tony) and Paula Pope (Curtis), all of Warner Robins, son Todd Ridley (Molly) of Dallas, Texas, grandchildren Adam Pike of Warner Robins, Laurie Carlton of Thomasville, Derek Pike (Amanda) of Mary Esther, FL, Christy Blackshear (Daniel) of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Mary-Todd Ridley and Henry Ridley of Dallas, TX, great-grandchildren Kayla Carlton, Jacob Carlton, Riley Pike, Isabella Blackshear and Kady Matthews, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Ridley, brothers Eugene, Earnest, Carl and Frank Ridley, as well as a sister Martha Mozelle Jennings, son-in-law John Pike and great-grandson Cody Pike.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 3:00PM-4:00PM. Following the services, Paul will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in Paul’s memory to Serenity Hospice in Warner Robins, GA.
