Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, December 3, 2017 in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00PM – 3:00PM, one hour prior to the service. Following the services, he will be laid to rest beside his wife in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

Warner Robins, GA- Marvin R. Waters, 81, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, November 28, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, December 3, 2017 in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00PM – 3:00PM, one hour prior to the service. Following the services, he will be laid to rest beside his wife in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

Mr. Waters was born October 15, 1936 in Pelzer, SC to the late Charlie Lewis and Annie Jeanette Waters. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after 26 years of honorable service. After his time in the military he went to work Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base where he retired after approximately 20 years of service. In his free time he enjoyed reading, watching sports, and visiting yard sales and flea markets. Mr. Waters was a huge Atlanta Braves fan. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather he will be greatly missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his wife, June Waters and great granddaughter Ava Grace Thomas.

Survivors include his sons, Randy Waters (Barbara) of Macon; John Waters (Cynthia) of Statesboro; daughters, Sandy Waters and Lynne Waters both of Warner Robins; Grandchildren, Trisha Thomas (Marquis) of Statesboro; Bethany Gilliam (Shane) of Statesboro; Brooklyn Waters and Madison Waters both of Warner Robins; great grandchild, Lottie Elizabeth Gilliam; brother, Rodney Waters; and sister, Judy Manley.
