Doyal W. Russell, 74, passed away on Sunday March 11, 2018. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday March 15, 2018 at 2:00PM in Heritage Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Bobby Dalrymple will officiate. Mr. Russell will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens following service. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 14, 2018 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Russell was born on September 7, 1943 in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Allen and Mildred Russell. Mr. Russell was an avid golfer who was a member of The Middle Georgia Senior Golfers. Besides his passion for golf, he loved his music, especially Buddy Holly and Johnny Cash. Mr. Russell was a simple man but was a hardworking man. He never asked anything from anyone.  He was a faithful and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a great grandchild, Raelyn Russell; three brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Brenda Russell; children, Pam (Keith) Kennedy, Leesburg; Richard (Paula) Russell, Warner Robins; Gary (Candice) Russell, Warner Robins; brothers, Lendon Russell, Tennessee; Tendel Russell, Arizona; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
