Mr. Boone was born June 11, 1928 to Avery and Lucile Boone in McIntyre, Georgia. He grew up working with his hands and was very passionate about farming and woodworking. Mr. Boone enjoyed spending his time outdoors fishing, hunting, and taking great care of his pet goats that he loved. He served this country proudly in the United States Air Force. Mr. Boone moved to Warner Robins in 1950 and became an active participant in the community in organizations such as the Knights of Columbus and his beloved church family. He retired from civil service with Robins Air Force Base after many years. Most of all, Mr. Boone loved being in the company of his family and especially his grandchildren who knew him as “Dan Dan”.
