A graveside service will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Reverend Brad Blackmon will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.

Byron, GA- Audrey Cooper Wilson, 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.  A graveside service will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Reverend Brad Blackmon will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wilson was born October 22, 1925 in McComb, Mississippi to the late Robert and Velma Hutchinson.  She retired after 19 years with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service as an Assistant Manager at Robins Air Force Base. She was a faithful and devoted member of Byron Baptist Church.  She was an avid shopper and when she wasn’t shopping she loved watching Nascar where she rooted on her favorite driver Jeff Gordon. Mrs. Wilson loved her family and was the foundation to her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Edward C. Cooper, second husband, Woodrow Wilson, son, Gary Cooper, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Her memory will forever be treasured by one daughter, Jayne Pitts, Byron; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Eileen Cato, Vivian Southern and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
