When funeral arrangements must unexpectedly be made away from home, Heritage Memorial Funeral Home will assist you in any way that we can.

WHAT TO DO FIRST

Call Heritage Memorial Funeral Home at (478)329-1400 day or night. It is not necessary for you to contact an out-of-state funeral home. After we receive the call, we will go ahead and make all of the necessary arrangements. We will have the deceased transported to the closest funeral home, where the death occurred. They would do the embalming and then have your loved one transported back home to us. Upon your return, we would then sit down with you for an arrangement conference and review all necessary information.
