Once you request the services of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, we will immediately put our experienced funeral professionals to work for you. A single, dedicated individual will stay in contact with you every step of the way and guide you through the decision-making process. He or she will carefully explain your options, make recommendations at your request, take care of all the small details, and ensure that you and your family’s personal touch is always present.

Our Staff: 

Allen L. Tatman
General Manager / Funeral Director

Allen is a lifelong resident of Warner Robins. He is also a graduate of Northside High School and the Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. Allen began his funeral service career at Christopher-Smith Funeral Home in 1982. Allen has worked at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home since it opened in 1994. He is married to Becky Tanner-Tatman, daughter of Heritage Memorial co-founder Clint Tanner. Their son Matthew attends Warner Robins High School. The Tatmans are members of Trinity United Methodist Church and Allen is a member of the Warner Robins Civitan Club.


Kimberly Smith Harris
Owner / Preneed-Aftercare Director

 

Kim is the only child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rabun O. (Elaine) Smith. She grew up in Warner Robins and graduated from Northside High School in 1984 and went on to Macon Junior College and received her degree in Dental Hygiene. From 1987-1997, Kim lived in Savannah, Georgia with her husband, David Harris, also a native of Warner Robins and a graduate of Warner Robins High School. He is employed as an Auditor at RAFB. In 1992, while living in Savannah, Kim and David were blessed with twin daughters, Charly and Lauren. The girls are currently Seniors at Perry High School. After working several years as a Dental Hygienist and raising her family, Kim decided to join her father at Heritage Memorial in 2003, to learn the family business better. Kim enjoys taking care of their five horses, waterskiing, and most anything that involves the outdoors. Kim and her family are members of Bonaire United Methodist Church. 

It is Kim’s desire to continue the family tradition of serving the members of this community by remaining the trusted hometown funeral home that puts families first.

Ricky J. Hamlin
Funeral Director

 

Rick was born in Perry, GA., to Rev. Olin and Mary Hamlin. He and his wife Janet, have three sons. Jason and his wife Stacy live in Henry County, GA., where he works for the Henry County Police Department, Corey lives in Davisboro, GA., and works for an outdoor nursery, and Adam attends Macon State College, working on his educational degree. Rick enjoys spending time with his family which includes two grandsons Chase and Hunter. In his leisure time he likes to play golf, fish and hunt. He’s a member of Second Baptist Church, a graduate of Dodge County High School and Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. Rick’s funeral service career began with McCullough Funeral Home in 1976. He joined the staff of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in 2001. Rick is a dedicated funeral professional and knows that God has called him to this profession.

 
Ken Smith
Funeral Director
 
 

Ken was born at Tyndall Air Force Base in 1952, the youngest of six siblings and the only son. Born into an Air Force family, Ken lived in several places before returning to Panama City, Florida following his father’s retirement. After graduation from Rutherford High School, Ken attended Gulf Coast Community College before joining the United States Navy. Ken worked at Southerland Funeral Home in Panama City throughout his high school and junior college years. 

While in the Navy, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas. Immediately upon his retirement from the Navy in 1994, Ken began to work towards his dream of attending Mortuary College. He graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta in 1995. Ken joined the full time staff at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in 1996 and served his apprenticeship under Rabun O. Smith. Ken believes that being a funeral director is more than a job-- it is a ministry and a service to our community. 

Ken is married to the former Leslie Wise, the daughter of W. R. Wise and the late Sibey Wise of Warner Robins. Ken has two daughters, Lydia (Brian) and Kenna (Ryan), and four grandchildren, Reagan, McKenzy, Jakob, and Addy. Ken and Leslie are members of the Warner Robins First Church of the Nazarene. 

 

Duane Fernandez
Family Service Advisor

Duane was born a preacher’s kid in Florida, but has lived most of his life in Georgia. He and his wife Kim, have three sons. The twins attend Houston County High Scholl and his youngest son attends Russell Elementary, where his wife is employed as a school teacher. Duane enjoys walking, biking, and spending time with his family and is actively involved with his church, Shirley Hills Baptist. Duane graduated from Montgomery County High School in Mt. Vernon, Georgia. From there he graduated from Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon and Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. For the past 24 years, Duane has served in church settings in the area of music. He has served as Minister of Music in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. Having found that his greatest fulfillment is in helping people, Duane is looking forward to working with those making crucial decisions during their time of need. He feels he could be of great service to answer questions and help families make informed decisions during what is usually a very difficult time.

 

Andrea Gale
Office Manager/Aftercare Advisor

Andrea is one of the newest members to join the Heritage staff and she will be one of the first to greet and assist you when you visit our funeral home. She is the daughter of Buck and Frances Lee Gale, formerly of Warner Robins, now residing in Dublin, Georgia. Andrea is a graduate of Warner Robins High School and of Georgia Southern University with a degree in Marketing and an emphasis in sales/sales management. Within Heritage, Andrea oversees various aspects of the daily operations and aftercare programs and assists families with making their pre-arrangements. 

After graduating from college, Andrea moved to Virginia and lived in the Tidewater area for almost 20 years and then on to St. Augustine, Florida for the past few years, working in various professional sales positions and management roles. When the opportunity arose to move back to the area, Andrea was very excited to rejoin the community activities. She enjoys biking, everything to do with the beach, snow skiing, and she loves being with family and friends. Andrea currently attends Harvest Church.


Mark Musselwhite
Funeral Apprentice

 

Mark is a native of Warner Robins, where he graduated from Warner Robins High School. He is the son of Joe and Kyra Musselwhite, long time residents of the area. Mark and his wife Jessica met at Georgia College and State University, where they each received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing degree. They currently reside in Suwanee, GA and are active members of Peachtree Corners Baptist Church. Before joining the team at Heritage, Mark worked in Customer Service and Outside Sales. He is presently serving his Apprenticeship and looks forward to completing the requirements to become a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer in the State of Georgia.

 

Kelly Foust
Funeral Apprentice

Kelly was born, the youngest of five siblings, to Lloyd and Martha Foust. He is a lifelong resident of Warner Robins and a 1992 graduate of Northside High School. He and his wife Cheri, have two daughters, Brittany and Brianna. Kelly and his family are members of First Baptist Church of Centerville. Kelly is a avid hunter, and fisherman, and loves playing softball. Kelly started his funeral service career while in high school, working part-time with McCullough Funeral Home under the late Jimmy McCullough. He went on to pursue other career opportunities and later began working with Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in 2002 on an “as needed” basis for the late Rabun O. Smith. Kelly became full time with Heritage in November of 2008. He is currently working on his apprenticeship and will attend school to obtain his Funeral Director and Embalming Licenses.

 

Part-time Staff:

We are very grateful to have such a wonderful Part-time staff with us. Their dedication and compassion is priceless to us and to the families that we serve. 

Our Part-time staff includes: Ed Harper, Ed McCurry, Cliff Cranford, Truett Spivey, Janice Varnedoe, Larry Varnadoe, Linda Carnes, and Adam Hamlin.
